This release patches bugs that many users of Python 2.3 experienced. Support has been added for the latest features of IceWM 1.2.14 / 1.2.15. IceWM Control Panel: tkPCCard [UNMAINTAINED] Screenshots
IMPORTANT NOTE: As of version 2.0 of IceWM Control Panel, tkPCCard is NO LONGER SUPPORTED, and NO LONGER MAINTAINED. However, old versions of the old tkPCCard program will remain available in the download area.
tkPCCard is a handy PC Card (PCMCIA) manager, written in Python, but using a Tk/Tix interface. So, Tkinter, Tk, and Tix are required to run this application. NOTE: tkPCCard was the PC Card manager for IceWM Control Panel versions 1.1 and before. GtkPCCard is the new, official PC Card manager program for IceWM Control Panel. As of version 2.0 of IceWM Control Panel, the old Tkinter-based tkPCCard is no longer supported, and all new work will be done on the new GtkPCCard. This tool allows you to suspend and safely eject PC CARDS, as well as view detailed information about the cards and their status in a graphical environment. It is useful for laptops and other computers supporting PC CARDS. This program is a frontend for the 'cardctl' program, so the 'cardctl' is required and must be on your PATH.
